Filling a hole in a bridge in Iraq 2004

Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 15 deployed to Camp Fallujah, Iraq took time out from executing convoy security missions to get together and send a message back to friends, family and race fans in the U.S. watching the 2008 NASCAR Nationwide Series season opener at Daytona International Speedway to air on Feb. 16. The team provides safe and secure movement of material, equipment, tools and personnel throughout 58,000 square miles of Al Anbar Province.

NMCB 15 is part of more than 1,400 Sailors, Soldiers and Marines supporting critical construction efforts in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq.

Security Team attached with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 1escorts personnel and equipment near Al Taqaddum, Iraq Feb. 9. NMCB 1 is part of more than1,400 Soldiers, Sailors and Marines supporting critical construction efforts in the Al An bar Province of Iraq and is also currently deployed to several locations in the Middle East and Afghanistan providing responsive military construction support to U.S. military and coalition operations.
